The new cameras have coded name designations to help the consumer quickly and easily identify the unique features. The 2006 digital line up is broken out into two systems. The "I" series cameras feature a simple Icon-based program setting and the "V" series camera features a color Video Menu-based program setting that also allows instant viewing in the field of images captured. Following the I and V designations are the camera's key features. The first number is the image resolution, the next two numbers indicate the flash range, and the following letters identify special features unique to that specific model. All Stealth Cam units feature the exclusive "Burst Mode™" technology allowing multiple exposures up to 3 images per triggering or 10 seconds of action video. Other common features includes: 1-60 minute time out, time and date stamping on each image, test mode, USB and video out, external camera status display, auxiliary power port for use with external power supply, as well as, expandable memory card slots.
