Catoma Outdoor Hilleberg . .
Catoma is what you would call a new “old-company.” We started building tents in 1993 when we built our first tent for use by the USDI Wilderness Fire Fighters. We needed a name for our company, and with our building located on the banks of the Catoma Creek, we decided to borrow its name and Catoma was born. Since then, we have continued to design and build tents to the Fire Service and other specialized customers.

Welcome to Hilleberg the Tentmaker; a family owned company with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing lightweight, four-season tents of the highest quality. Our personal interest in wilderness camping equipment developed hand in hand with our professional life, resulting in uncountable backpacking trips and a focus on quality and function in tent design. Although it has never been our intention to become the biggest tentmaker in the market-place, it is to be the best. Our many satisfied customers decide whether or not we have been successful.
