History of
the Company
In 1976,
Butch Richenback, 1972 World Champion and 1975 Champion of Champions duck
caller, began whittling on a block of wood, that he later shaped into
his first duck call, that established the foundations for Rich-N-Tone
Duck Calls. He wanted a call that was simple in design, as well as simple
for the average caller to operate. A call that would be versatile in sound,
that would do it all from ringing hail calls, nasty bottom-end duck, to
soft, up-close calling. A call that was dependable, and would perform
day in and day out flawlessly, under the most extreme hunting conditions.
And above all else he wanted the call to have Duck. After all the bottom
line was to produce the most realistic duck call that anyone had ever
placed to their lips. And he did just that. These principles have been
the driving force behind our calls success, both in the field, and on
the World Championship stage. Capturing more World championships than
any other duck call ever.

This has been
our philosophy for over twenty-five years. It has built our company, our
reputation, and our products. It has driven us to produce the meanest
sounding, best performing, from top to bottom, duck calls on the planet.
For these values are embedded deep in the heart of every piece of wood,
acrylic, and poly-carbonate we transform into an awe inspiring, jaw dropping,
RNT duck call. However these values have not been made over night. They
have been instilled in a long learned history, that all began over 25
years ago by Butch Richenback at his small garage in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

From
the Original to the new Daisy Cutter. The Rich-N-Tone line is our
bread and butter what RNT is known for. Meanest sounding. Best performing.
From top to bottom.

The Kelley Powers
signature, short reed canada goose call. Especially tuned by Kelley
Powers with that little extra goose that Kelley likes in his personal
hunting call. |

Designed and built
by RNT, for the die-hard, hardcore waterfowler who demands true, consistent
sound and performance from every call. |

The Timbre call,
designed by Christian Curtis and Brad Treece, brings something a little
different to the RNT faithful. Quieter and mellower, the unique sound
that has taken the duck hunting world by storm. |

RNT has built its
reputation over the past twenty five years on the sound, versatility,
dependability, and ease of use of the original. Since 1976, it has
been our goal to build the meanest sounding, best performing, from
top to bottom, duck call on the planet. And weve done just that.
From loud ringing hail calls, nasty bottom end duck, to its super
sexy, soft, up close, put your landing gear down calling.
This call will do it all. Since Butch Richenbacks first few
calls, the original has had several modifications over the years,
through new toneboard and bore designs, as well as new innovative
manufacturing techniques. But one thing still remains the same. Our
duck call building philosophy. Over the years this call has been treasured
in duck blinds, has seen countless daybreaks in the timber, regarded
as heirlooms by hardcore duck hunting families, and has been raised
on the stage side by side with the World Duck Calling Championship
trophy more times than any other duck call ever. You see, with this
kind of success, we have never found a reason to abandon this cornerstone
call design. And fortunately, you havent either. Most of the
first calls ever built were constructed out of wood for their superior
sound quality. That is why our Original wooden duck calls have become
favorites among hunters. All woods have been selected to perform well
under wet conditions. Single Reed. |
