WIND ON LEADERS

Braid Wind On Leaders are constructed using super strength Spectra line and Momoi monofilament. The attachment loop is double sleeved for optimum strength and the end attached with two commercial grade flexible glues and finished off with a thin walled, ultra-low temperature plastic wrap.

Note: THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH REGULAR SHRINK TUBING. It is applied with little more heat than is given off by the sun on a hot summer day-Providing a low profile, durable connection that does not damage or weaken the monofilament in any way.

Crushed crimps and slack swages are a thing of the past with the new Braid “HD Swager™” Rigging Tool. Its foolproof design makes perfect connections every time without fail.
Most rigging tools are little more than pliers with grooves in the jaws. They don’t address the most important part of making critical connections in big game leader systems and rigs—compression control. Crimps and swages are designed to be compressed to a specific size and no further. Don’t compress them enough and your connections slip and fail. Compress them too much and they deform and crush the line.

With the “HD Swager™” Rigging Tool you can’t screw up. The jaws are wider than those found on other tools so they can be used on crimps or swages. Slip one of the six perfectly sized notches over a crimp and start to squeeze the ergonomically designed, non-slip grips. You’ll notice a clicking sound as the internal ratchet system measures the pressure your applying. When you reach the perfect compression point the ratchet makes a snapping sound releasing the pressure and leaving you with a perfect crimp.
