The 16" Pistol/Rifle Brass Pick Up unit has a 14" collection area. It will collect approx. 2000 to 4000 casings depending on the caliber. It will even collect unspent bullets safely. (Will not pick up .22 rimfire) **Factory recommendation for hard troweled concrete surfaces common to indoor ranges: The brass should be collected much more frequently than other surfaces. If the brass is allowed to pile up it can render the Ammo-Up ineffective.

Effective
If shooting outdoors, we recommend the area be clear of large sticks, etc. The Ammo-Up works on most surfaces including concrete, carpet, dirt, sand, clay, grass (up to 5" high or with light leaves and small sticks is no problem). Ground with some irregularities is also acceptable. Gravel will not work though, as the machine will also pick up the gravel. Ammo-Up is water proof, UV resistant, motorless and light weight.
