AUGERcaddy® was originally conceived by Gary Pinard, President of P&B Metalcraft, after years of ice fishing experience. While the advent of power augers has made cutting of holes easier than with hand augers, especially in deeper ice, starting the engine and drilling holes still requires wrestling with the weight and balance of the auger. P&B Metalcraft decided to solve the problem… and we did!

But here’s the big news: Augercaddy® is more than a mounting system, it safely and securely holds your auger while you drill your hole. Simply pull the Quick Release Handle, slide the carriage down the Guide Member, start the engine and drill your hole!

Why AUGERcaddy®?

  1. Unlike other mounts, it holds your power auger in a vertical position to prevent gas from leaking out.
  2. It’s the first commercial mount on the market that enables you to drill your hole from the back of your ATV or snowmobile.
  3. With AUGERcaddy®, you no longer need to wrestle with your power auger while you try to start it. It’s like having another pair of hands to hold it.
  4. Holes can be drilled safely, quickly, and easily. When you are done, you simply shut the engine off and lift the auger up to it’s locked transport position, and you are ready to move on to your next hole.
  5. The steel and aluminum construction of AUGERcaddy®, combined with powder coating and roller bearings ensure trouble-free performance in severe winter environments.
